Eric Twahirwa is a seasoned data and environmental journalist based in Rwanda, with a decade of experience in the field. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the Kigali Institute of Education (now the University of Rwanda College of Education). Eric has been recognized for his outstanding work, winning the Best Data Journalist of the Year awards in 2022 and 2023, as well as the Best Health Investigative Journalist of the Year award in 2022. He was also the first runner-up for the Best Anti-Corruption Journalist of the Year. Throughout his career, Eric has participated in various fellowships and training programs on environmental issues across Africa, enhancing his expertise and commitment to environmental journalism.
